Part of the series: demonstrations
Intervention of a copy of the Rome Statutes, which govern the operation of the International Court of Justice in The Hague. The covers of the copy of the statutes were replaced by ones made with plastic fiber and moss. It was placed in the garden of Kunstpodium T, in Tilburg, The Netherlands, for a week during the fall, from where it was eaten and inhabited by inhabitants of the garden.

After their stay in the garden, small pieces of the paper were taken, which were read in an electric microscope. The video demonstrate how various microorganisms were inhabiting and devouring the paper and ink with which this law is reproduced. This close reading tries to question the apparent boundaries between nature and law, the old distinction between polis and physis.
